Choosing Branding Methods for Corporate Merchandise

Begin with the product and artwork

Choose the product’s purpose before selecting its decoration. A fabric garment, ceramic mug and metal bottle present different surfaces. Share a usable logo or original design, the preferred colours and the intended print area. The available method should be confirmed for the exact product and artwork rather than assumed from a general catalogue description.

Discuss printed graphics

Printing may be considered for apparel, bags, drinkware and stationery, but processes and compatible surfaces vary. Ask how the proposed method handles colour, fine detail and placement on the selected item. If accurate brand colour matters, discuss how it will be assessed and what approval reference will be used.

Consider embroidery for suitable garments

Embroidery can be discussed for compatible apparel or bags. The fabric, logo complexity and intended position affect feasibility. Ask whether the artwork needs adaptation and whether a sample or stitch reference is available for approval. Do not assume that every illustration or tiny line of text can be reproduced in the same way.

Consider engraving for compatible materials

Engraving can be considered for suitable metal, wood or other compatible surfaces. Confirm the usable area, the expected contrast and how the proposed finish affects the result. A finish shown on a different material is not a reliable approval reference. Ask for a relevant artwork or sample review where the result is important.

Check names, sizes and placement

An apparel order needs a size and variant breakdown as well as artwork. Named gifts need one approved spelling list. State front, back, sleeve or other placement clearly, using dimensions where possible. Confirm whether packaging and greeting cards need separate artwork files or approvals.

Approve a production-ready specification

Keep the selected product, decoration method, artwork version, colours, placement and quantities together. Agree any sample review, care information and timeline before production is arranged. Use only artwork you own or are authorized to reproduce. A clear brief helps you compare proposals and reduces avoidable revisions.

Explore relevant collections

Product availability, customization, sample arrangements and delivery timing are confirmed for the agreed brief.
